Spelt itself is a nutritious cereal and puffing is a special, gentle process. Thanks to it, such a puffed cereal retains many of its nutrients. Puffed spelt is a good source of fiber (6.2 g of fiber per 100 g) and protein, which contains 12 g per 100 g. It also boasts a high content of vitamins (such as niacin and vitamin B6) and minerals (such as iron, magnesium and phosphorus). We then pour a vanilla or honey glaze over the swollen, crispy spelt grains. To make spelt taste even better, but at the same time not lose its crunchiness.
