Fishing takes place in the waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean near the coasts of Spain and the United Kingdom.
After being caught, the largest pieces travel to a family business in the province of La Rioja, south of Bilbao, Spain. Here, the sardines are processed using traditional artisanal techniques and placed in a practical glass, already cooked, without head, tail and entrails. After portioning, just add qualitySpanish organic olive oil, which fine-tunes the flavor profile and the extra nutritious sardines are the best tasting in the world.

Sardines are a source of unsaturated fatty acids, and despite their small size, they contain up to0.4 g of EPA and DHA - omega-3 fatty acids per 100 g of solids. These are associated with anti-inflammatory effects and improved cardiovascular health. They are also an excellent source of protein and essential amino acids, especially lysine, leucine, glutamic acid and others.
Sardines are also known for their anti-inflammatory effects and their ability to fight oxidative stress, thanks to minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium, zinc and iron, which are also abundant in sardines.
