Vilgain Red Onion Chutney brings you the sweet and sour taste of caramelized red onions with a subtle hint of port wine and balsamic vinegar. Each glass is made with the utmost care for all ingredients, ensuring an authentic and unmistakable taste.
The onion is prepared over two days - on the first day it is hand-peeled, on the second day it is boiled and sautéed for 7 hours. This meticulous process ensures a deep and rich taste with a slight caramel touch. Our chutney is made completely without preservatives and contains only high-quality ingredients, including extra virgin olive oil, which gives it a delicate texture. Thanks to its thick texture, our chutney is the perfect filling for a burger or sandwich. Its caramelized taste in combination with port wine will perfectly complement grilled and roasted meat, cheese or vegetables.
