We exposed the fruit to extremely low temperatures and then slowly dried in vacuum, completely removing the water. Through this freeze-drying process, the fruit gains its typical lightness, retains its color, aroma, flavor and full spectrum of micronutrients. To top it all off, it crunches perfectly.
In addition to the fact that freeze-dried fruit is a great substitute for fresh fruit, its great advantage is also its versatility. You can simply throw it in your backpack for a trip, it will look great in yogurt, giving it a natural flavor, but you can also add it to desserts or as an ultra-clean coloring agent for creams.
In the package you will only find dried fruit, nothing more. The blend is made up of 40% fresh strawberries, 35% plums and 25% blackcurrants.
Strawberries are known for their high vitamin C content (62mg/100g) (1). They also contain high levels of folic acid and potassium, iron, magnesium and calcium. Plums provide your body with fiber in the form of pectin, which can aid in digestion. Currants and strawberries provide vitamin C and, thanks to the content of flavonoids, which act as antioxidants, positively affect the immune system.
