This exclusive single origin coffee comes from the picturesque Peruvian mountains, where it is carefully processed using the washing method and sun-dried. Single origin means that all the beans come from one place, which results in unique characteristics and tones of the coffee that reflect its place of origin. It is grown by small farmers in forested areas above 1200 m above sea level. They use natural compost instead of chemical fertilizers. Roasted with love in a Prague roastery Roasting coffee beans changes their structure, color and acquire their final taste. Therefore, roasting requires great experience, knowledge and equipment. Our coffee is roasted by masters in the field in a local Prague roastery with a long tradition. Roasting takes place a maximum of 7 days before packaging using a gentle hot air method.
And what does fresh roast mean? The coffee is prepared in small batches, which makes italways fresh. But remember that it must be prepared no earlier than 10 days from the date of roasting. This will prevent unwanted sour or bitter notes from being extracted into the resulting cup of espresso.
