Rillettes is a meat spread made from pork that is confit in lard until it basically falls apart. The recipe comes from the area around Le Mans in France. It is very tender and absolutely delicious. It will taste just as great spread on a slice of our dark bread as it does on a fresh baguette. Store from 0 to +25°C. After opening, store at 7°C and consume within 2 days. venison 30%, pork, pork skin, pork lard, red wine, dried cranberry (cranberry, sunflower oil, sugar), salt, drinking water, spices (bay leaf, juniper, Provencal herbs).
