Pistachios (Latin Pinus Pinea) or the fruits of the pistachio tree originate from the dry mountainous regions of Central Asia. Their history dates back to ancient Syria. Today they are grown in various parts of the world from the Mediterranean to India and the USA. The tree from which pistachios come lives up to several hundred years and bears fruit only every two years. However, the harvest is very rich, you can get up to 50 kg of pistachios from one tree.
We also prepare our delicious pistachio cream from our pistachios.
