Enjoy the taste of summer any time of the year! Thanks to the revolutionary method of drying fruit - freeze-drying, the fruit retains its original appearance, natural full taste and aroma. In addition, it has a much longer shelf life than fresh fruit, usually 1-1.5 years. 

Mango has an oval shape and its skin plays with many colors from green, through yellow, orange, red to dark purple shades. In the middle of the fruit is a flat, oval and inedible seed covered with hard fibers. Mango has a very specific taste, it can resemble a more aromatic peach.

Do you know how freeze-drying works?

In the drying chamber, the fresh fruit is deep-frozen to -100 °C. Then comes the first phase of drying. The temperature is raised back to zero and, thanks to the negative pressure of 50 to 100 Pa, the water contained in the fruit gradually evaporates and is trapped in the condensation chamber. During the last part of freeze-drying, the remaining moisture is removed and the fruit regains its crispy consistency. Approximately 6-7 kg of fresh fruit are used to produce 1 kg of freeze-dried fruit.

Dried mango has a wide range of uses:

• it is suitable for muesli, breakfast cereals and yoghurt
• alone or in combination with other freeze-dried fruit, it serves as a quick and nutritious snack
• due to its nature, it can also be used in RAW recipes
