Product detailed description
Sage is a meter-high herb originating from the mountainous regions of Central America. Chia seeds were eaten by the ancient Mayans and Aztecs more than five thousand years ago. The Aztecs are said to have even used them as currency.
Mixing them with liquid creates chia gel, which you can use to prepare pudding, jam, cocktails and porridge. Chia can also be used to bake bread, cookies and muffins. They have a slightly nutty taste.
Organic foods always undergo a system of controls and certification that ensures their quality and allows them to bear this label. Their organic quality will be appreciated especially by people interested in organic farming and a sustainable farming system.
