Dosage
Mix 10 g (1 scoop) with 500 ml of water. You can take electrolytes in the morning, after waking up, during exercise in the gym or during other sports. If you sweat a lot or after a more demanding workout, take them several times a day. Electrolytes straight from the Great Salt Lake! Three rivers flow into the Great Salt Lake in the United States, which carry all the minerals from the mountains. Due to the evaporation of water, the minerals in the lake are much more concentrated and the lake itself is saltier than the sea. The elements are obtained by evaporation using solar energy and thanks to this unique processing technology, the mixture contains a balanced ratio of all important electrolytes, including a higher amount of sodium, which we lose through sweating.
What is the difference between minerals and electrolytes?
Minerals themselves are responsible for hundreds of functions in the body and because we cannot produce them, we are dependent on their intake. However, the body is able to absorb minerals and trace elements only in organic form, so it is important to know the form and origin of the minerals you are taking in.
Electrolytes are minerals that carry a positive or negative electrical charge(ions). They are in all our body fluids, tissues and cells. Electrolytes have earned their name because they support performance and muscle function¹,², support the proper functioning of the nervous system and mental activity¹,², contribute to maintaining normal blood pressure², contribute to reducing tiredness and fatigue¹, contribute to electrolyte balance¹, contribute to normal energy balance¹, contribute to protein synthesis¹, contribute to the normal condition of bones and teeth¹, participate in cell processes¹ and contribute to normal digestion³.

Why are trace elements important?
BrainMax Hydration electrolytes also contains important trace elements that participate in:
- Enzymatic functions: Many enzymes require the presence of trace elements as coenzymes or as part of their active sites. For example, zinc is part of many enzymes and is important for metabolic processes.
- Support the immune system: Some trace elements, such as zinc and selenium, are essential for the proper functioning of the immune system.
- Bone and tooth formation: Trace elements such as fluorine and manganese are important for bone and tooth health.
- Oxygen transport: Iron is a key component of hemoglobin, a protein in red blood cells that transports oxygen around the body.
- Hormonal functions: Trace elements Elements such as iodine are essential for the production of hormones, such as thyroxine, by the thyroid gland.
When do we need to supplement electrolytes?
Electrolytes are ionized forms of minerals, such as sodium, potassium, magnesium. We lose electrolytes throughout the day, especially during sports or in the summer due to sweating. Electrolytes help support fluid function and balance.
- If you need to support brain activity (concentration, transmission of nerve impulses).
- On days of high temperatures as a guarantee of hydration.
- For physically active people and endurance athletes.
- For older people suffering from dehydration.
- After sauna use.
- Athletes and physically active individuals
- 12pt;">People exposed to physical stress
- To support hydration of the body
- People who consume little protein through diet
- For strength and endurance athletes
- Also suitable for refreshment during the day
Electrolytes and their effect on alkalization
Electrolytes are as such team players in our body, where each of them has its own special role. Among other things, they also participate in alkalization. It is about maintaining the correct balance in our body, specifically between acidity and alkalinity. When we eat, the body converts food into energy, which creates waste products that affect our body's pH. Electrolytes help neutralize excess acids, which helps keep your body's pH within the ideal range. Stay hydrated quickly and easily! Electrolytes are ionic forms of minerals, including sodium, potassium, and magnesium. It is common for us to lose them during the day, especially during physical activity or in hot weather due to sweating. BrainMax Hydration Electrolytes contains these electrolytes in their natural form, without added sugar, artificial sweeteners or artificial flavors. Only electrolytes in powder form that can be easily mixed into any drink.
- Suitable for sports and any physical activity.
- Designed for rehydration.
- On hot summer days when we sweat more and also after sauna use.
- For physically active people and athletes.
- For elderly suffering from dehydration.
