Why is RALA better than LALA?

Both names refer to different forms of lipoic acid. RALA (R-α-lipoic acid) is the naturally occurring and more biologically active form of lipoic acid, while LALA (S-α-lipoic acid) is a synthetic origin. RALA is therefore used by the body much more efficiently and its effects, such as supporting energy metabolism, neutralizing free radicals and protecting cells from oxidative stress, are more pronounced due to its absorption and stability.
