The very delicate and thick pasta sauce Tygr is intended mainly for young children, who generally love pasta with ketchup. Regular pasta sauces are therefore usually too thin and not sweet enough for children. The high proportion of sun-ripened Italian tomatoes of the Mauro Roso variety, bred using traditional methods directly for use in organic farming, gives Tygr its typical taste. Tygr does not contain any added sugar and its pleasant sweetness is only provided by concentrated carrot juice. We use it mainly for pasta, but also for couscous, millet and the like.
