Jak to začalo?
Myšlenka vyrábět čistý ovocný mošt se v naší rodině zrodila už v roce 2011. Chtěli jsme českým spotřebitelům nabídnout kvalitní český produkt, který nám v té době na trhu chyběl. A proč zrovna mošt? U nás v podhůří Bílých Karpat, na jejichž jižních svazích se daří hlavně ovocným stromům a vinné révě, nebylo potřeba inspiraci hledat dlouho.
Kde vyrábíme?
Mošty, pyré a další produkty jsme začali vyrábět pod značkou Ovocňák v moštárně v Rudicích a od roku 2019 i na farmě v Beckově na Slovensku. Od dubna 2023, máme kompletně výrobu přesunutou na farmu, protože blíže našemu ovoci již ani být nelze.
Odkud jsou suroviny?
Vyrábíme převážně z ovoce a zeleniny od sadařů a pěstitelů z moravy, západního Slovenska a v případě nepřízně počasí i okolních zemí. Asi třetinu ovoce pěstujeme ve vlastních sadech, které jsme založili v roce 2013 a na kvalitu surovin tak nejen dohlížíme, ale i si ji sami určujeme.
Každého kousku ovoce si vážíme a staráme se o něj tak, aby co nejméně přišlo nazmar. Jablka která přivezeme skladujeme bez přístupu vzduchu. Díky tomu zůstanou dlouho čerstvá a šťavnatá, a my tak umíme mošty dodávat celoročně. Měkké ovoce, které nestihneme zpracovat, zamrazíme a postupně zpracováváme až do další sezóny. A výlisky z jablek využíváme jako krmivo pro hospodářská zvířata.
