The old saying goes that you shouldn't mix apples and pears, but our puree will convince you otherwise. This fruit duo more than works, especially when it comes to an honest recipe without a trace of chemistry. Thanks to pears from several different varieties, the puree is perfectly thick, sweet, and yet fresh.
Don't look for any complicated story behind a glass of our snack. The apples and pears come from Czech and Slovak farmers and have plenty of time to ripen in the orchards before they are transformed into delicious puree. In addition, unlike large processors, they are hand-picked and washed, similar to home canning. The fruit is then gently strained through a sieve until it becomes a perfectly fine pulp.
You can enjoy apple and pear puree with your children without added sugar just as a quick snack, add it to granola and yogurt, or even make desserts with it.
