Devil's claw - or harpagophytum procumbens (Latin Harpagophytum procumbens) acquired its popular names thanks to the curved formations on its fruits. Dried tubers are usually offered in the form of an extract or as coarse dried pulp. In our e-shop we offer it as a more usable HARPAGOPHYTE EXTRACT created by releasing active substances by maceration in alcohol. The active ingredients of this plant are harpagoside, harpagid and procumbide, flavonoids, phenolic glycosides, triterpenes and sterols.
Why choose harpagophyte as a dietary supplement? To support the proper functioning of the musculoskeletal system, it can be helpful in cases of limited joint movement. It has antioxidant effects - can serve as support for inflammatory conditions. It provides relief from unpleasant conditions associated with menstruation. Used in ointments and massage preparations (to prepare your own preparations you can use HARPAGOPHYTE EXTRACT).
Harpagophyte is not recommended for pregnant and lactating women.
It is not entirely suitable for heart patients and diabetics (slightly lowers blood sugar levels).
Not recommended for blood pressure problems.
Ingredients
Harpagophytum Procumbens Root Extract, extract from the root and tubers harpagophyte recumbent in 25% alcohol, dry matter content 11.4%.
Use
To achieve the effect, the recommended daily dose of this tincture is 0.5 to 1 ml 3 times a day, administered internally. To measure the dose, you can use a 1 ml measuring cup, which you will receive with the product. Duration of treatment: 4 weeks, at least 2 weeks break.
Storage
The stated shelf life of the product is significantly extended by storing it in a dark and cool environment (preferably in a refrigerator at a temperature of 6–10 °C).
